If you use back your GPU (instead of onboard graphic), everything back to normal?

If you ran your machine overclocked because you had a separate graphic card, I'm sorry but it looks like the heat from the overclock toasted the onboard graphics on the CPU.

Those modules are very close together.

Same issue occured to me. Found out GPU chip toasted. Have to get new GPU.... cant repair as the chip itself costs a lot.

Sapphire HD7870 GHz Edition 2GB OC. It's now working okay after i swapped out my current mobo / CPU. Now running on Maximus Hero IV and i7 4790K. tongue.gif

My previous setup probably died after not switching off my CPU for 7 years.. whistling.gif

one hell of an artifact. if your on-board GPU short, highly likely that your CPU also short, at least part of it, which results in constant break down. post your entire pc spec if you may?

most likely it's the CPU, cause the artifact happens with the GPU disconnected cry.gif
