Everytime I go find friend at kepong they always bring me to steamboat or even food court lok lok

Not special gooding food in kepong meh? Like pudu is roast goose and claypot chicken, puchong is popiah and roast duck, pj is hokkien mee and chicken rice, subang is fried chicken, kuchai lama is dim sum and fish head noodle, sunway is china cuisine.

Hint ; The signature food is loklok and steamboat lah.

Puchong = popiah... Yeah Puchong is famous for popiah.. Imported stuff you know.

Ask him to buy any dishes from kepong and ‘sign’ his intial on the dish.. now u have a signature dish of kepong

Ya ive heard all my chinese friends got preference food for diff place. Like klang got bkt, there got this etc etc.

But none of my malay friend got the same list. Except for those foodies.

And Pudu claypot jiken tasteless and 1.5 hrs queue, puchong popiah insides like rubbish while roast duck smelly af, PJ hokkien mee like any other hokkien mee in the world, Subang fried jiken so much inferior to fried plastics, kuchai lama ok la acceptable but dim sum mahal af because kononnya susah punya kerja, and for China cuisine since when China food is ever nice?

So far haven’t find any Steamboat at Kepong that can match Coco Steamboat Old Klang Road and Popo Steamboat SS2

Try Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodle. Very nice but a bit on the higher side Norway Salmon Fish Head Noodle

all non-halal my fren say is nice there.

but for halal, u will have better luck to find one around its neighbour ( dutamas and so on )

the original one is there and the new one in Manjalara next to happy city business is ok

but if you going manjalara obviously there are much better choices

Don't knock it till you try it. I was also sceptical coz salmon is not an easy fish to cook. Usually smells really fishy. But this restaurant preparation is master level. I became one of it's fan. But price wise will be a bit higher. Do order 2 pieces of fried salmon fillet coz 1 to be honest is not enough.

Where is the lok lok stall?

I remembered 10 years ago I layan the pasembor at the stall near Kepong roundabout and saw a taxi uncle sitting on next table that looks exactly like Bill Murray .

i noticed there are a fuckton of bak kut teh shops along jalan kepong, like wtf it has more bakuteh shops than klang in just one jalan.
