Newbie here. I am looking for a good looking suit for interviews and maybe work use.

I am 6'3 and skinny with a budget of around RM1-1.3k. From abit of research I have found out that G2000 will be ideal for me.

Any other recommendations?

For 1-1.3K you may be able get a basic tailor-made suit. Probably polyester/wool mix fabric 2 piece suit. Google Galaxy Tailor.

Hey newbie. You should also research what is tailored (bespoke) and what is custom (made to measure@MTM). I'm not sure about custom but I'm pretty sure G2000 doesn't do bespoke. smile.gif

If your budget only allows for off the rack (OTR), then I'd say just go with whatever that fits you best in the shoulders and chest. Sleeves can be altered easily but shoulders is major surgery.

As in bespoke? Or MTM? Looking for one also lol. I have a really dark navy suit, so dark it looks black, so now I'm looking for something more casual and fitting. My current dress shirts are really basic Uniqlo ones; they don't fit me too well, so I might go to a tailor to get a bespoke off-white one too. I've heard Ah Loke does good ones around the RM300 price range, so I might check his store out. If Galaxy Tailor really does bespoke 2-piece suits for the 1.1K price range, I might really consider it, since it seems quite reasonable.

Looks like I really need to do some research b4 purchasing (first guy in the family to buy a suit). Thank you.

Happy to help. Can't vouch for the quality since I've never used them. Another ad I've been seeing regularly is by Cayman tailors.
