Was contemplating note10+ but kind of dissappointed with the price and specs.

Think i'm gonna keep my Note4 another year. Lol

So until Note 11 bla bla bla, don't want to upgrade, lastly your phone dies.
LOL
At least upgrade to Note9.
More worth than waiting.

Yes i agree.. i think its time to retire the Note4.. getting quite laggy, but i am so used to it.
Note9 camera doesn't look too good. I was hoping for a huawei flagship level camera for the note10.

Now i'm in a dilemma. I've a IphoneX lying around.
I'm now thinking of moving fr Note4 > IphoneX > Note11/12 maybe
Do you think its advisable? Android > Ios > Android.. has it matured enough for it to be seamless move, ie. using Ios as a stop gap (i don't really like ios thou.. hence the lphone ended up lying around)?

Do you use the S Pen?
Then if you did not utilise it much, maybe can opt for Huawei since you want that camera quality like Huawei.
Or S10+ is good enough in terms of camera performance.
I am using both platforms but seriously I just cannot stick to one platform only due to some limitations in iOS such as file management and also my heavy reliance on the S Pen.
I only love to use iOS is because of the apps. It is optimised better on iOS.
But for work, my Note9 is still my workhorse. Samsung DeX is just too important for me to change to other brands. And also Samsung Pay that just become my go to wallet where I go.
It is up to you which is better for your usage.

Yes i use the s pen quite a bit. Certain things are easier and faster to do with the pen. Like pointing a cursor, highlight, snip, crop.. with precision.
Huawei doesn't have a pen.. wished they did.

I do like the Note10 dex integration with windows10.. looks like something i would use.

I really wonder why the direction seems to be moving towards wireless headphones when the audio lag/sync issue when playing video hasn't been sorted out. My thoughts are they should only remove the headphone jack once its as good as wired.. particularly for this note line as its supposed to be for power users.

I agree.. ios seems very fluid.. but then again my benchmark is my Note4 to which everything else is more fluid. Lol.

I would tend to disagree. The best of androids especially the Pixels and Oneplus are just as fast or not better compared to IOS. Samsung Experience though fluid still needs a little polishing to be just around that level.  nod.gif

I quite like the Pixel if not for the lack of the pen. And unlimited cloud photo storage if i'm not mistaken.. which is awesome.

Well the Note10+ is good enough for you. The only ommision when compared with P30 Pro is the zoom capability. You still get a Night mode in telephoto, wide angle and selfie camera.
So that is good enough.
You still have the option to buy a 3.5mm dongle if you still need a headphone jack. And I suppose to expect that since you use iPX, you should be accustomed with a no headphone jack smartphone. I have been living a dongle life with my iPhone quite a long time, so far it does not bother me much at all.
And you get a lot of improvements over your Note4, which is a really big upgrade for you. The only thing that the N10+ not have is the IR blaster, hp jack and removable battery. I know the Note10 is not what we expected it to be, but for users Note8 and below it is a really big jump for them. For us Note9 users, not so much.

Yes.. good enough. But as i would be paying top dollar.. i expected more. Lol smile.gif
Camera sensor size is same as S10, which is smaller compared to P30 pro. This difference shows up in night shots.

I got the IPX as a gift.. which is to say the IPX wasn't my choice.
I disliked the 3.5mm dongle that came with it. It just felt a real compromise. I never did got used to it.
Can't charge the phone while using a wired headset and it felt dumb to have to carry around a dongle.. something i would very likely misplace.
And having to get a splitter if i wanted to do so. Lol

Seems i can't have it all.. smile.gif
