I already mention this long before the launching event.

Samsung is forcing Note fans to upgrade to Note 10 plus. Note 10 is not an option for the Note fans, it is for the new comers.

Note 10 is the same price with Note 9 (RM3699 RRP). But with smaller battery, lower screen resolution, no headphone jack, no SD card slot. especially the screen resolution. Note is the top dog, the most premium Samsung phone in the line. And you give us FHD and called it is doned? Is this a joke?

Usually I would trade in my previous gen Samsung flagship for the new gen Note. Note 5-> S8+ -> Note8 -> Note9. But this year I am gonna skip this. Already bought Oneplus 7 pro and I love it so much. Meanwhile Note 9 is the last perfect Note. I will keep it for secondary phone and appreciate its greatness.

A bit of off topic, but this is relevant to the 90hz screen.

Even Pixel 4 is going to use 90hz screen!

Then confirmed Samsung will be using 90hz screen in next year flagships! More and more companies are jumping into it. There's no reason why Samsung can't follow the trend since they have the ability to make one. At least for Note 11!

Based on the feedbacks from Note 9 thread, it's safe to say that more than half of Note 9 users won't switch to Note 10 this year. Except you la.

Oh. I already changed to Note 9 last year. And i think I will stick to it until Note 11 comes out. LOL.

People would still go for it without second thought as long as it's a new phone. Only the phone enthusiasts like us in here would analyze and compare the pros and cons before making purchase decision.

Damn! Last year when I traded in my Note 8 during the road show, the value was RM1900, which is very good. But this year Note 9 (128GB) trade in value is RM 1350. WTF?

It's already confirmed that Samsung will use brand new CMOS in next year camera. So expect to see a huge improvement in camera department next year. This is also one of the reasons why some people skip Note 10 and wait for S11.

Pavilion? Haha. I still remember the time when I was queing at pavilion for Note 8.

Not very long. First day most of the people at the roadshow are Song Ji-Hyo fans. The crowd was large but only 1/3 are buyers.

At that time Samsung roadshow management was kind of lousy. The venue was small. Not enough counters. Not informative enough. Not enough stock of specified color. The staff need to do all the stuff for you on the spot (register warranty).

Note 9 roadshow was way better since KLCC provided a large venue for them. It was much more systematic. Every staff have their own tasks. One counter for purchase, one for register, one for gift redeem. No more confuses.

In short, I had much more pleasure on queing experience in KLCC compared to Pavillion. I think Samsung should not invite celebrity in the roadshow. Afterall, we go there for the phone, not for the idols. Fanboys and fangirls will only make the roadshow becomes chaos...LOL.

If this time Note 10 launch they invite celebrity again, then no hope liao. It sure will be full of frustration and angers (for real Note fans)......

200 units only? Wow. It's much lesser compared to last year.

Last year Note 9 got 420 units alone for KL area (cash rebate RM999 for 2nd item). I was no.7x when I reached there around 9am. Just a reference for you guys who plan to camp for Note 10.

No matter what, there sure got some people willing to line up at midnight. The only question is how many people will go for camping overnight. Since the internal info said only first 100 customers eliglible to the 2nd unit offer. I am afraid that the ticket will be finished even if you arrive there early morning. So no choice. if you really want to grab the opportunity, camping overnight is your best insurance.
