Yes, no such minimum cash entry boarding. But about 5 years ago (before they removed visa), one of the visa requirements is to have rm6k in bank statement, among other things .i.e. self-employed proof doc/employment letter, trip itinerary, etc.and japan no such rule need minimum cash entry
