
Project Sino DotA League.
A mini event aim to increase the Pro-Gaming standard in Klang and hopefully Selangor and Malaysia in the future.
After 2 Trial Stop, Sino DotA League will start it's first open Stop at Stop #3 4th August 2007.
The league is now open to public, any teams who are interested may join the league.
The Prize for Sino DotA League are
Champion ( Group Leader ) : Cash Prize of RM300, Advance to next league stop
1st Runner Up ( 2nd Standing in Group) : Cash Prize of RM100, Advance to next league stop
2nd Runner Up (3rd Standing in Group) : Advance to next league stop

. Game Version: v6.48b
. Registration is free but PC login fees are bear by the participating teams.
. Prizes:
(a) Champion ( Group Leader ) : Cash Prize of RM300
(b) 1st Runner Up ( 2nd Standing in Group) : Cash Prize of RM100
. Competition Method: 5 vs. 5
. Tournament Structure:
(a)Group Stage: Best 1 out of 1
(b)Entry Match: Best 1 out of 1
. Match Length: Until a winner is decided
. Match Winner: The player who completely destroys the opponent's Ancient or if the opponent surrenders.
. The match will begin with a coin toss and winner of the coin toss will get to choose:
(a) Sentinel/Scourge side of the map or
(b) the first hero to remove from drafting
. Attendance: Gamers must report to the respective game zone according to the schedule.
. Teams will receive call from the organizers to confirm their attendance, Teams that failed to show up on the tournament day after confirmation will be permanently ban from the league.
. Once gamers leave their seats, the result is finalized. No changes will be made.
. 1 Substitute is allowed during the tournament. After the match start, teams must continue with the initial players throughout the match. Teams are not allowed to change players and characters while on game play.

. There will be 4 teams in a group. Teams are required to play against other teams in the group.
. Teams will be awarded 2 points for every game won.
. In the situation where teams score the same point, Teams which end the game with the less time taken will consider as the winner.
. Top 3 teams of the group will proceed to the next stop of the league. The teams that score the lowest point will automatically gain a slot in the Entry Challenge League.
. In order to join the Sino DotA League, teams must register for the Entry Challenge League held at the last weekend of each month.
. Entry Challenge League are limited to 4 teams.
. Entry for next League Stop will be given to the Champion team of the Entry Challenge League

. Game Mode: Extended League Mode
. Both teams will be allowed to take out up to 3 heroes from the pool of heroes before drafting starts. This will work based on a 1-1-1-1-1-1 format. Teams can choose to skip their chance of removing hero.
. A maximum of (but may not up to) 6 heroes can be taken out before the drafting session happens. After the taking out draft finishes , teams will proceed to pick the heroes for the game. This will work based on a 1-2-2-2-2-1 format.

. Pumping: No pooling of any sort is allowed. This means that items bought with a player's
own money cannot at any time be carried by any of his teammates. Items bought with the player's own money can only be carried or sold by him.
. Items which are dropped from a kill or chicken may be picked up by any player, and the
item is now considered his.
. It is not allowed to purposefully suicide to drop an item for another player
. No control sharing: Strictly no control sharing. Only when there is one more or team mates disconnects, then you can share the control of that player(s)' hero. However, you cannot take, pass or sell that hero's item(s).
. Sharing: The sharing of wards, consumables, and gems is allowed. The following items are the only allowable items which may not be sold if transferred:
(a)Sentry Wards
(b)Observer Wards
(C)Lesser Clarity Potion
(d)Ancient Tango of Essifation
(e)Flask of Sapphire Water
(f)Gem of True Sight
(g)Scroll of Town Portal
(h)Aegis of the Immortal
(i)Cheese
. Backdooring: Backdooring is allowed.
. Cheating: There will be no tolerance of cheating. If a player is found cheating, they will be disqualified immediately.
. Each team may only have two Mekansm
. Each team may only have two Necronomicon
. Each team may only have one Refresher Orb
. Each team may only have one Arcane Ring
. Each team may only have in total either
(a) Two Eul's Scepter of Divinity OR
(b) two Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse OR
(C) one Eul's Scepter of Divinity and one Guinsoo's Scythe of Vyse
. Bugs: The will be no tolerance for bug abuse. If a player is found exploiting, they will be disqualified immediately.
. Creep blocking is not allowed but creep slowing is allowed. Blocking here refers to the
prolonged blocking of creeps to disrupt their usual path. (ie: Using Chen's creeps to block the
entire entrance of the base for a long time.) Creep slowing means that you can stop the creeps
from moving in their usual path for a few seconds. (ie: Using fissure)
