I asked this in travel and living but i suppose that i can get a faster reply here

I applied for US visa and scheduled an appointment but i would like to know from where can i get the "visa application fee payment receipt" and the "MRV Fee payment receipt"

I just paid yesterday and scheduled for my appointment at 7pm earlier.

When you paid, you should have a receipt depending on how you make the payment. There should be a transaction code or similar that proves that you have paid.

I paid using Jompay and received the confirmation email. I did not get any receipt or whatsoever

All i have is my bank's email saying my payment is successful

What did you put in ref1?
ref1 is the receipt number

Yeah i put that as my receipt number. I took a picture of that because my first attempt in scheduling my appointment was unsuccessful.

I have my appointment date. Just that i am not too sure what they meant by visa fee payment receipt and mrv fee receipt. Is it my bank transaction record?

afaik, mrv = visa.

just print whatever you have and bring there

I do not have that.

Mine is a notification email from my bank giving me the ref no (i think this number is from the bank cause it is different from the one in my deposit slip), the biller and the amount paid.

it's the jompay receipt.

You can only make appointment only after you've keyed in the payment details.

Initially I had issue with my payment too via jompay. Turns out it needs half day of processing before the jompay receipt number is pushed through their system.

I already made the appointment. Just that I didn’t receive the receipt from the bank.

But I think I will print the email notification the bank sent me cause it has the biller code and amount paid there.

what? thats so short notice? usually the appointment can be made two - 3 weeks in advance after payment.

I made a simple Google sear h earlier, and it is not needed. Smart casual or polo shirt is good enough.

TS, put on some sunscreen ya... you will need to line up outside the embassy to wait for your turn to enter. Mine took 1hr (arrival at embassy until collection of my belongings at the guard post). The actual interview was less than 2 mins. Interviewer only wanted to know the duration of stay, who was funding it, and which states I was planning to visit. Next thing I knew, he said 'Enjoy your trip!'

I prepared a complete itinerary, and printed so much stuff, he wasn't interested to see any.

I am done with the interview and had my visa approved. Currently waiting for them to mail it over.
