Can someone recommend a cheap but working Thunderbolt 3 / USB C to USB A 3.0 Adapter for use on an iMac that is available locally?
I bought the really cheap ones on AliExpress and they do not quit fit.
Thanks

I generally had bought the ones from Dodocool USB C to USB A adaptor and it works well on my MacBook Pro 15" Touchbar. Here is the link for your information. https://shopee.com.my/dodocool-USB-Type-C-t...5979.1664997941

Is the one you bought available at Sri Computer or All IT? I hesitate to order this stuff online - it's just a waste of time if it doesn't work. By the way, yours says non OTG and mine says OTG - what exactly is OTG? This post has been edited by mikey8811: Aug 3 2019, 01:44 AM

A bit late but I use uGreen or Baseus for my cheaper USB C to USB A adapters. Shopee has RM9 free shipping now so a good time to get spares if you don’t need urgently.
For faster speeds (USB 3.0), I use Aukey. Ships locally so it’s fast, but it is a bit more expensive. uGreen and Baseus have USB 3.0 adapters too if you want to try those out.
The above are available in some local IT shops, but with a markup so I usually prefer to buy online and wait for delivery.
