Teaser was shown in front of "Hobbs & Shaw", and luckily managed to see it on YT before taken down laugh.gif

It shows primarily John David Washington's character. It has an "Inception" vibe to it.

The words in the teaser:

"TIME HAS COME FOR A NEW PROTAGONIST"

"TIME HAS COME FOR A NEW KIND OF MISSION"

"FROM CHRISTOPHER NOLAN"

"JOHN DAVID WASHINGTON"

July 2010 - Inception
Ten years later...
July 2020 - Tenet

Inception sequel? hmm.gif Title already a palindrome.

Maybe the same company that produced the experimental military technology in "Inception" returns with something newer?

Whatever it is, "time" will play a role in the film as evident from the teaser which showed the main character seeing the bullet hole twice.

Erm what? The cars are moving in reverse. shocking.gif

Looks like time reversal / protagonist can move backwards in time that kinda thing... expect to be mindblown again laugh.gif

In that case, probably movie goers have to see more than once since the film might end in reverse (the ending = the beginning) that sort of thing... tongue.gif

I do strongly believe the ending will not be conventional, there will be a "WTF" moment that will make you rethink everything you just watched.

Didn't watch this trailer to keep the suspense.

...so it looks like this won't be "Inception" level mindf*** at this point.

It might end up having a lower RT score (or higher, but usually not the case). As long as not rotten, should be worth the watch.

Watched it a couple of days ago, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I was expecting "Inception" level mind-numbing thinking but instead it was utter confusion in the second half tongue.gif No, that's not a bad thing once I did my own reading.

Once again, a Nolan film worth watching (and necessary if you want a better understanding) a second time.

No spoilers, but I knew the film was going to end in a way that will make you rethink from the start biggrin.gif

Overall, this has to be the most 'Nolan-istic' film to date - - the music score is tantalizing with inverted tunes while the visual effects are an absolute splendor + the use of time devices.

My absolute favorite moment of the movie has to be when The Protagonist steps out for the first time and everything is inverted (and he attempts to drive a car). I could literally feel it haha... such a brilliant sequence.

The creative use of inversion in the second half during the battle really makes the film one-of-a-kind.

Didn't watch it on IMAX due to distance and showtime, but this film was made for IMAX.

Highly recommended if you enjoy mindf*** movies + Nolan's previous works especially "Memento" & "Inception".

In terms of filmic quality + how mindblown it is compared to "Inception", yes, "Inception" is better at that but this film really holds on it own.

I watched it once and then read up online once, and called it a day. biggrin.gif

It didn't engage me to go into depth as much as "Inception" which I kinda traversed forums and discussions for weeks after release.

Don't get me wrong, "Tenet" is a fantastic Nolan film that is high on entertainment value, but it is not as engaging as his previous works.
