I'm looking to store all my media that is currently scattered through multiple external drives into some internal drives and stuff them into an enclosure. I want to make it redundant and currently am thinking of doing Raid 1 or Raid 5 so I wont fall into despair if a drive fails on me. I have already lost too many external drives due to drive failure. Primarily gonna be using it to store all the obviously legally downloaded content. So when I needed to I will connect my laptop

My requirements:
- Minimum 4 bay.
- Raid ready
- usb 3.1 gen 1 or gen 2 (output using usb c would be a bonus)
- sub RM1k

Wut u guys think of buying refurb desktops to start a NAS? Though I think it needs to be at least half in cost to the most-cheapest buy-new-component DIY plan.

Took a look at shopee but the cheapest and numerous remains BTX-era PCs so have to be careful not end up with those traps.
