What if the location does not have 4G coverage? For unifi mobile it will roam on Celcom 3G network. What about Unifi Air?

not really, u may add on external antennas urself if u're using the modem router provided
and in fact the b618s-65d internal antennas are more powerful enough than some cheaper external antennas, just you can get to some extraordinary position with good signal more easily with external one, or simply just place them outside for the best reception

Maybe few km away. In the app map it's more than 1" looks pretty far away. I am barely getting 1 bar sometimes 2 max 3 but video test don't load at all and half the times H+. I don't think it's worth while. Random download gave me 20~70K/s. 😅🤣 Anyway thanks for trying to help. I go back to chasing tm put unifi vdsl in my old apartment building. We atm don't have 80% interest in unifi.

i see. then not too bad to sign this plan to use for on-to-go since it is unlimited.

becos the huawei modem itself already costs rm6xx to 7xx.

FAQ said that one needs to return the device. that's why this is the confusing part.

Do I need to return the unifi Air device when I terminate the service without any penalty?
 Yes, you will need to return the device and its packaging in good working condition to any of our TMpoint outlets.

i did chat with their help line a couple of days ago, she said unifi air only support band 38 and 40..

reading from this thread it seem like unifi air really do support on band 5.. just need a double confirmation.. do unifi air support band 5..?
*
Yes. But band 5 max speed so far 11Mbps only. Usually below 2Mbps. Best to find device (modem or phone) that support B38 B40 but not B5 so u get to connect to fast bands if there is multiple tower nearby.
