Not until they release Zen2 for Ryzen mobile.

Wanted to buy the HP Envy x360 ryzen5. Lucky held off. Hot bugger. The 45W Ryzen5 in the bigger x350 15" seems to work well. Probably software issue.


For most things, a standard i5 U CPU and enough ram (say 8gb) would be good for most things.

Get something with a 45W H CPU (doesn't matter i5 or i7) and a proper GPU if want to play light games.


I don't game and just want a lightweight machine. My fanless 6Y30 is still serving me well.

May upgrade to the 2nd gen Ryzen5 ultrabooks when they come out....considering thinkpads are starting to have Ryzen. My old X61 is still working and the keyboard is still the best.
