Can? After disable = under performance?

No la. Turbo boost just a feature to auto overclock certain cores when running certain cpu demanding apps.

I used to disable turbo boost in my office designer pc as it caused bsod for some adobe apps

If just remaning on 1.9mhz speed there is not enough to run more program softwares 🤔🤔

Modern processor got high IPC. Should be ok to disable. However I'm not sure the effect on low speed power saving laptop cpu.

The pc i disabled is running on higher clocked xeon proc. No slowness detected as most importantly no bsod anymore. Maybe adobe software compatibility prob. Not sure if they fixed it now.

I never encounter other pc or laptop prob with turbo boost enable. Its actually a good feature to improve performance

i consider it cause
1. its a 2in1. i still have my desktop for heavy usage.
2. lightweight easy to use for presentation
3. 14"compared lenovo 13
4. the touchpad gimmicky as number pad.. haha i am a sucker for it
5. cheap

near identical from lenovo is Flex. but they are not selling here.

Too bad this zenbook dont have 3700u version here. but it'll do

Actually Zen series from ASUS is good.

The only thing u need to take note is you cant compare Asus after sales service with HP, Dell & Lenovo on site service

If you are willing to walk in to Asus SC in case got problem then go on

But I have been using Asus notebook for nearly 8 years now (the same laptop). Only changed the adapter and the battery is almost dead now. So I can say the quality is on par with other brands.

After sales service of Asus is horrible. I sent my 2 week old Asus lappie for RMA over a failed HDD and it took slightly more than a month to get it back. Their service centre also never answer any calls. Anything you need to walk in.

RMA cannot say anything la.

Better to have next day on site service or warranty compared to Asus 2 years standard warranty

But not everyone can afford to pay the premium for premium service for things that may or may not happen

Unless there is an offer like RM1 for 3 years on site from Lenovo etc

Used to like trackpoint. Nowadays prefer to use the gesture control on touch pad. Much more easier

The gesture control on windows laptops improved greatly since win 10
