Everytime i see this pic, I am really impress even though haven't try the laptop. It just looks solid and well built.

I think because nowadays most company don't allow you to open their laptop or is soldered.

Even can open, some only let you open small section like the ram slot portion of the laptop for example.

In an ideal world, this will be the perfect arrangement. But if you can't spend too much you have to trade off, that is why I feel 14 inch laptop is superior (I'm talking for those that can only buy 1 laptop only due to money constraints).

It's like middle ground.

13 inch < 14 inch > 15 inch = 17 inch

I feel the same way, when originally i posted, i was focusing about display size, but also battery life you are absolutely right.

why not try talk to CS and return it for a refund? tell them it was a mistake. get back your full money.

If you remember the original date that was on OVP site, it's actually closer to that. Like mine for thinkbook 13s originally was around November 1 and November 5, let's just say I am not expecting it this week.

Edit: I saw some people say missing license can take up to 5 days here.

Also early buyers normally benefit most, if Lenovo do such stuff. Getting T49X series without 16GB soldered really limits the maximum RAM you can upgrade cause 2 slots (1 soldered, 1 can upgrade)
