dont compare consumer line acer and hp with thinkpad.
thinkpad have superior built quality compared to those brands business model.

if compare consumer line ideapad with acer/ hp, lenovo price is actually pretty similar.

Thats why synthetic benchmarks is not really applicable in real life usage. Different apps have different utilization, some apps prefer intel cpu.

Its all depends on what software u use. But in general multitasking is bit better on laptop ryzen 3000 series compared to intel 8 gen whiskey lake. But on desktop, ryzen smokes intel on the same tier comparison.

If you not in a hurry, i suggest wait for next gen ryzen and see how it compares to the 10 gen intel.

But if want to buy now, the ryzen model is so much cheaper.
