Received my xiaomi full auto door lock today, ordered from China since the model not available in Malaysia.

I used seller shipment service from lowyat, since it's sensitive item air freight so pay little more cost.
Placed order on 23rd Oct received yesterday night, roughly 10 days.

Total cost around 1.28k myr including insurance, model XMZNMST02YD.

Saw some post that xiaomi going to launch another model name xiaomi smart door lock pro with face recognition function tomorrow.

Yeah the final price includes insurance in case it's lost somewhere during the shipment. I couldn't find the full auto model here in Malaysia, perhaps local seller not yet imported the latest one.

However warranty will be quite trouble if you need it later so only can pray it work as it should during the warranty period. Those bought it with local seller usually have 1 year warranty but China set I think it's 3 years. Anyway I think even local seller hard to do 1 to 1 exchange if the lock has problem later within 1 year, so I feel like quite the same just you need to handle it yourself if bought directly from China.

The one I found local is push-pull type while the one I bought is full auto mode.
