Hi guys,
I'm new to gunpla, picked up this hobby during mco and made some sd and a couple of hg, mostly sd. Just recently bought rx93 rg from damen litt tak thinking it's time to do something more difficult.

Just a quick question, for lining, when do u guys usually do it. Before assemble, during assemble or after assemble? Bought both Gundam Marker GM01 and GM02.

Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I usually only panel line after i have assemble the kit. i would also recommend getting the Tamiya Panel line accent, lot easier compared to the panel lining pen from bandai lol.

Thanks for the info bro, appreciate it. Will try out the Tamiya panel line accent. Still ain't sure exactly where to do the lining on the kit. Guess I'll have to look at the box and refer once I done assembling haha

Best part about this hobby is experimenting and trying out new things!
Also, since you buy from Damen Litt Tak store, just talk to the staff there la.... all builders and will be more than happy to teach you on the spot bro.

Yep, the staff there been really helpful since I just started gunpla. But can't always go cos been there 4 times I think, came out the shop with a few new kits every damn time haha. Still have some backlog to clear.
Gonna head over again this weekend, definitely gonna get the sazabi, just ain't sure I want the mg or rg

Sazabi is a very big and challenging build for MG, so for a beginner i would recommend you to try smaller MG kits. At least, if you make mistake, it wont be a costly one lol

on a separate note, below is the gundam base limited RG lighting edition available for sale for a very limited time by bandai for Malaysia. Don't think this will be available next year.

Thanks for the heads up bro! Will check out the video.

Saw this at Damen Litt Tak, not sure if it's rg or mg. Just love the sazabi kit standing next to the rx93 rg

Defo RG. MG has slight difference in detail, less holes to show inner frame, but has eye catching silver frame (eg the shoulder armor is the easiest part to notice).

Also the MG is YUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE.

Yep bro, it's the rg sazabi. Loves the kit so bought it as well. Saw the mg sazabi and you're right, its humongous lol

Apology if this has been asked or discussed before. Just wanna ask for opinion on panel lining. I've tried both Gundam Marker gm01(those fine tip) and Tamiya Panel Accent on my experimental sd kit. Needless to say, panel accent is definitely easier to use and it does give a 'cleaner' result. But i have read about panel accent might cause cracks on unpainted kit.
My question, what's the reason for the crack, so that i can avoid it. I also read about doing the panel line while the kit is still on the runner to avoid the crack.
Any opinion is greatly appreciated. My apology again, still very new to gunpla, especially when it comes to detailing

Hi guys, need some opinion or advice

I'm currently building this 1/144 Barbatos Lupus (Iron blooded coating). I'm getting quite a few black nub marks as shown in the picture I attached. Since the runners are coated in chrome, sanding seem kinda impossible. Is there a way or any kinda similar color marker out there to hide the black nub mark.

Thanks!

Best you could do is to find a similar metallic paint (acrylics/enamel) and patch those nub marks. It's also why I don't think it's a good idea to buy special coated kits... these problems will likely occur.

btw, I unboxed and reviewed something interesting that's quite useful (IMO).

Thanks for the heads up bro! I'm still new to gunpla and just getting those kit that I thought it's cool haha. I'd try to see if I can find any metallic marker to patch the nub mark since paint/air brushing is out of question for me. Mostly just doing OOB build for now

PO is to get it at cheaper price..RM10-30 cheaper

Like i bought the RG Zeong, i didnt place any PO ealier coz during that time not like this kit at all.

than dont know why suddenly love it and bought if for RM225 for ready stock.. PO i saw the cheapest is RM210 i guess.. this is the normal kit, not with the effect.

beside for PO, u will place some deposit, once the stock in seller need to alert u to pay for balance.. than after all clear only ship.. so all that will take some times..

If you're from klang valley should check out damen litt tak shop. Bought almost all my kits there and the price is actually almost the same as pre order. Just the other day, I went to pick up the wing zero ver ka for 205, the promoter recommended the mg zeong to me for 205, the one with effect is 330 if I'm not mistaken.
Gotten my pg unleashed for 950 too without pre order, but I did ask to reserve one unit whenever it's available
Ps: the price stated on the kit isn't final price, can still bargain haha. Hence why I like to get my kits there besides its like 5 mins away from my house
