any tips how u guys bring back to malaysia, i do notice some box is huge. is it PG is the highest grade or got exclusive grade? lets say for budget rm3k
If you use AirAsia, max out your check-in luggage. Then get a box from somewhere and put them in that box, then register the box as your check-in luggage.
Exactly what I feel to those people who went to Japan to get gunpla. Why bother get the regular release kits when they are easily available here? Even if the items more cheap, it is not recommended as you will carry the huge boxes back. Unless the retail kits are somewhat discontinued and rarely reissue. E.g. The 1990 HG RX-78-2 Gundam.
Get the special exclusive Gundam Base. Those are actually in good price in Gundam Base because they are jacked up if buy in Malaysia.
GodHand also easily get here. Its a matter you want to spend RM250 just for a hobby nipper or not. Instead get the similar design at more cheaper price. The Nanye nipper only cost about Rm40..
Sometimes you carry the huge boxes back might still be cheaper than shipping them to Malaysia using EMS hahaha
First time i see premium bandai kits actually cheaper lol
SRP-wise, yes cheaper. But unlike standard release, there is no retailer discount I think. So if local shops were to import them and sell, more or less need the price would be SRP + shipping + shop profit margin. For standard releases, the retailer discounts were high enough to cover shipping and shop profit margin when selling at SRP in Malaysia
Lol open P-Bandai store doesn't mean the items will be cheaper. Price is pretty much same with you buy from 3rd party side from local hobby shop. Marked up with high shipping rates via EMS shipping.
Main problem with P-Bandai, they shipped directly from Japan instead of having warehouse locally. So if the item is made in China the item will need to go to Japan instead shipped directly from China to local P-Bandai store(warehouse).
If the model kit doesn't gave prepainted parts, it will be fully manufactured in Japan.
