there's still a few left,
any takers here? haha

letting go of everything except gundam seed related kits
and RG because those are beautiful and have unique shelf presence

eventually hobbies dieded out on us eh

and speaking of Gundam Seed

I. NEED. THIS.
hoping its an entirely brand new mold

already got strike gundam and windam laying around,
and eyeing on Dagger L purchase once it hits retail stores
mixing and matching striker packs would be fun (and prolly the last thing i can enjoy with this hobby)

FG is generally no good.
If you want cheap kit but full colors get the Entry Grade RX-78-2 just recently released last year.
*
I see....the entry grade gotten it. Generally if u assembled few HG, there wont be any problem "grad" to RG, MG, or even PG?

The only difference is the patience and concentration needed to assemble them. PG would obviously need more attention since they're expensive and some includes wiring instructions. RG needs more finesse since they have tiny parts. Progression wise I'd recommend you go HG, MG, RG then PG, though you can skip right to PG if you feel confident biggrin.gif

Some like PG Unicorn/Exia has their LED set sold separately.

Size-wise, yes. But I rate it based off complexity, RG detail-wise is almost if not more complex than MG, so I rate it higher because of tiny parts smile.gif

Agreed, RG is higher to MG due the complexity of the tiny parts.. need to be extra careful or u will break it.. MG is easy on your finger..
Used to like MG, but now a days switch to RG after assembled RG Zeong biggrin.gif .. and also current RG is with the latest tech such as undergate which help a lot when removing those nub marks sweat.gif

no time to build and passion gone.
bside kit is getting expensive.
look at figma, from rm150...now become rm350.
*
I justify the price of the kit based on the amount of time I spent on it. Like an MG could last me a few months. So technically it's cheap but expensive time wise biggrin.gif

170? Need to check if it's scam or bootleg (daban etc)... Personally I prefer the MG as I found the details nicer with the psychoframe...

here's my version  biggrin.gif

It's supposed to be a hobby, something you enjoy doing :/ If it takes you 3 years just to assemble the thing, maybe you're not enjoying the process? sweat.gif

I feel u bro sweat.gif .. my solution is i do at night/early morning (after 12am) after both my sons sleep.. this consider a ME time for me.. but need to sacrifice sleeping hour sweat.gif

as i still enjoy this hobby so much and need to be a good dad, definitely need to sacrifice..

i do on weekend mostly, current have some idea to do custom project.. so the progress is very slow, i spent around 2-3 hours than go to sleep..

Having able to do 1-2 hours daily consider super luxury time for most of us cry.gif

When I was young with lot's of time => No money to buy
When I get older with able to afford any kits I want => No time to build

Oh I do enjoy, just the time for it perfecting it to my liking = [none]
for example; thinking of painting some of the part (multiple parts)... there i malas already.
I can snap build just fine, probably it'll be done within few weeks time, just that adding a bit of detailing that makes me lazy when i think about popping back out the brush, paint, thinner

I still like the purchasing part, cuz buy is easier then assembling
