Manfrotto 488RC4...help!

hi guys...
i appreciate if any of u could help me... i juz bought a manfrotto 488rc4 ball head... i realised that when the plate is in place...the release switch doesnt go all the way... it is stuck in the middle... what i want to know is... is this normal or is mine has something wrong somewhere? hope users of 488rc4 can give some feedback.thanks! |

middle as in? as long as the plate is in place, (when u hear a 'click') i think it should be alright
