Hi There,

I notice that these two accounts created have the same typing style. Also both accounts frequently bump Renee's thread. Not to mention, Thunderbird frequently causes trouble in my thread and even insults me.

As you can see from this thread http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=365775&hl=
he opens a topic with Alfa99 account and as he was lazy to relogin in this account, the uses the account Thunderbird to "tumpang" thread. That is what i think.

Also as you can see from this thread, http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=471737&hl=
Alfa99 is constantly bumping Renee's thread and helping her in arguements...You will very obviously notice that both Alfa99 and Thunderbird constantly bump Renee's threads.

I do not want to waste me energy on such people who create problems. What i hope is for the admin to check if it is indeed the same person and what would they do if it was a duplicate account? Especially one used to bump indirectly and create problems. Thanks

We're aware of a lot of duplicate accounts. We generally ignore them until they break the rules. In this case, those threads are very old so I don't see the need to do anything about it.

Alfa99's account was registered in Feb 2006, whereas Thunderbird's account was registered in January 2003 and furthermore, both accounts are active so from your point of argument, I don't see how both parties are related especially if you do a quick check on their profile, topics created and discussed.

Next, it isn't Renee's fault if forumers wanna give her a free bump (in the form of praises, testimonials, etc) in any of her threads as long as she's not doing an indirect bump herself. Agree? nod.gif

I feel that the duplicated account issue was more targetted at Renee than Alfa99 or Thunderbird due to rivalry. I guess that's a little childish, why stab each other as some competition is perfectly healthy, we (as normal forumers) get better deals and more choices too so whoever offers the best bang for the buck will win the game. icon_idea.gif That's from my point of view. smile.gif

We usually turn a blind eye to "friends and well-wishers" who want to bump the topic of their favorite seller, but please keep it in moderation. We still retain the right to admonish people who excessively bump a topic that is not theirs.

I doubt you can check much from those information stated, i would leave it to the Mods to check, and i don't need your input here since you cant even make sure whether they are dup accounts or not.

Perhaps you should read the title of the topic a few times and understand it clearly before start blurting here, this thread is complaining about Thunderbird & Alfa99 suspicion on having duplicate account, could you point out which part of my sentences saying that i'm putting the fault on renee?

Again, i would appreciate it if you have something useful to contribute, if you don't kindly leave this thread. I would leave this to the Mods. Oh ya, don't guess / assume / feel, make sure your facts is right before posting, don't repeat your mistakes like the previous ones. Thanks

From my understanding, BUMP rule is only applicable in Trade Zone. The 2 link u given refers to a normal discussion thread, where an indirect BUMP brings no harm to any forumers at all... as no trading occurs.

The first link, so called 'tumpang' is actually Thunderbird 'tumpang' Alfa99's topic to ask something realted to the topic. There is no indication that states Alfa99 used Thunderbird's account.

2nd link is a complain brought up against a mod. Seriously, whats there to BUMP? Do u think by indirectly bumping that thread can make the case stronger? They were just arguing/supporting Renee...

If u feel offended by any problems or insults from Thunderbird or any other forumers, u may report it to the mods....

Other than that, i dont see any connection between them... perhaps mods can see...

There was a system screwup back then, resetting most of the member's join date.
So January 2003 is not the original join date.

Clareen, if you have been harassed by Thunderbird.

Report to the Staff with all the proof, and cc to RBR. I'm pretty sure they are all will look into that matter.

I also suspect that alfa99 is a duplicated acc.
There is no benefit if he/she posted so much positive comments for Renee unless he/she is the same person.
