QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Sep 8 2007, 09:10 PM) I have this problem and i suspected it is a brake problem. try check the disc surface, if got scratches means the pads wear out already. while you at it guess just check if the pads too thin already or not. Whenever i apply on brake while <20km/h, got sound. Like some metal scratching. But only at low speed, high speed no sound. Thin brake pad? QUOTE(Azuma-kun @ Sep 18 2007, 12:56 AM) karat on the hood is the most shittest thing that can happen on wira, it's like parasite, it just won't go away no matter what you do to it. the best is to replace new hood altogether, which set you back around RM700. or you can look for people to scrap and remove the old glue and cut and solder new metal to the karat place, it probably will last you 2-3 years before it resurface again. i spend on the scrap method and it cost me RM180, and this is friends price. |

guys, whenever i let go of the clutch too quickly or going over a bump, there's like knocking "thumps" sounds coming from the front. i changed the engine mounting, lower arm bush and drive shaft, but the sounds still remains. tulan already, spends so much yet the sounds still there. even the mechanic has run out of idea what to change anymore. any suggestion what part is the culprit for the problem?

QUOTE(imperialrealcs @ Sep 25 2007, 10:04 AM) i really fed up with u wah lau eh... change or not change to disc no need to debate leh. i need to replace one drum only, around 200++. if change to disc need around 600-900, then the workmanship fees also gonna be higher.well, maybe u cant read properly, i would juz rephrase in point form -his drum brake is damaged, he change back to drum -instead of drum, im asking why drum where disc brake is juz around the price? maybe a tad expensive besides, why should i sue proton? drum brake not brake? for the car performance, drum brake is more than enough.. my point is, since he going to change another brake, then add more for disc lar.. if the drum brake no problem, go kacau for what not i wana mod, i was asking those who mod ori from the outside, modded from the inside ma |
