I have this problem and i suspected it is a brake problem.
Whenever i apply on brake while <20km/h, got sound. Like some metal scratching. But only at low speed, high speed no sound. Thin brake pad?
*

try check the disc surface, if got scratches means the pads wear out already. while you at it guess just check if the pads too thin already or not. tongue.gif

I've asked my dad...
He said you on that thing then cruise till ur desired speed...Then you press the button on the right to set the autocruise and lift off your leg frm the pedal....
Bout the Resume thing maybe is when u pressed the brake and ur car will deactivate the auto cruise so u use that button to resume....
Btw,i'm not sure its correct anot la.....
*

what i heard also the same. not sure on the deactivate, press break or gas, or maybe both also can.

My dad ask for our kelisa, local cap ayam brand is rm110 sweat.gif
While i take a look at 15" tyres only rm90. Of cos both are cap ayam one.
So no choice, promote bumper, uk spec rear bumper+SE spoiler, SE side skirt, 13" rim (really turn off) doh.gif , projector/smoke headlamp? exhaust and muffler, no idea sweat.gif
Eh...that uk spec bumper can fit a/b ka? Most i see is sedan.
*

15" tyres so cheap meh? i recently just changed my tyres, 14" for RM125.

New paint is needed becoz i can spot karat at my hood.
*
karat on the hood is the most shittest thing that can happen on wira, it's like parasite, it just won't go away no matter what you do to it. the best is to replace new hood altogether, which set you back around RM700. or you can look for people to scrap and remove the old glue and cut and solder new metal to the karat place, it probably will last you 2-3 years before it resurface again. i spend on the scrap method and it cost me RM180, and this is friends price.

guys, whenever i let go of the clutch too quickly or going over a bump, there's like knocking "thumps" sounds coming from the front. i changed the engine mounting, lower arm bush and drive shaft, but the sounds still remains. tulan already, spends so much yet the sounds still there. even the mechanic has run out of idea what to change anymore. any suggestion what part is the culprit for the problem?

Yeap mine is drum...I nvr change any brake pad b4 since day 1...
*
faster go check it. mine last time i delay2 too long till the day when want to change it, has to change the drum inside as well coz the metal that holds the pad has rubbed with the drum inside, causing unrepairable damages. cost me few hundred to buy the drums from chop shop.

1 question here...
my car 1.6, rear is disc brake
when we press the brake pedal, normally the front brake function only right..
correct or incorect?
*
of coz both front and back, otherwise when you brake while cornering you can already drift. laugh.gif tongue.gif

i really fed up with u doh.gif
well, maybe u cant read properly, i would juz rephrase in point form doh.gif
-his drum brake is damaged, he change back to drum
-instead of drum, im asking why drum where disc brake is juz around the price? maybe a tad expensive doh.gif

besides, why should i sue proton? drum brake not brake? for the car performance, drum brake is more than enough.. my point is, since he going to change another brake, then add more for disc lar.. if the drum brake no problem, go kacau for what doh.gif.. i dunno what u will come up with but definitely laugh.gif about ur post
not i wana mod, i was asking those who mod  whistling.gif
ori from the outside, modded from the inside ma brows.gif
*

wah lau eh... change or not change to disc no need to debate leh. i need to replace one drum only, around 200++. if change to disc need around 600-900, then the workmanship fees also gonna be higher.
