Greetings Guys !
Recently I just got myself a Proton Wira ... but then the petrol meter seems to be always inaccurate ? unsure.gif Everyday I will need to pump in RM10.00 dollars but my mileage is about 30 - 40km a day ... is it something wrong with the meter reading ?

Regards,
HughiE

Hmm ... thanks for the prompt reply on my post, guys smile.gif
Really appreciate that ! Here is my new update on the situation, sometimes when I break too hard the meter reading for the fuel will go up abit and that will avoid the red alert sign to be triggered. unsure.gif
I was wondering is it because the meter's problem or the fc problem ... this is a 2 years ++ old car ...

there has been an issue on inaccuracy of fuel level in wira. if you managed to open the tank, you will notice that the fuel tank measurement rely on a floating mechanism. there will be a reserve location to restrict the float from floating out of its predesignated location. oil can enter and flow out of the confined location through small gaps. as you corner, the petrol might shift to one side. if its at the fuel sensing float side, you will see increase in fuel for a moment before it goes back to normal level provided the car is in planar position. the opposite occurs when fuel is flowing away from the fuel sensor. correct right?

Greetings ! smile.gif
I'm facing familiar situations as well .. but mine will be mostly affected when I accelerate and stepping on the brake pedal ... blink.gif
This really gives me a headache when should I pump in the fuel and planout for the FC for a month ...
