Dear fellow sifus, I have a customer from Singapore that actually wants my team and I to travel to Singapore to cover their actual wedding day photography and videography. 1. Do I need a work permit for this trip? Or is it okay to shoot weddings there for a day? 2. Do I need a permit to fly a drone there? (I read in some websites that as long as the drone is less than 7kg, we are allowed to fly at those flying zones. But just wanna be sure.) Your valuable replies will be highly appreciated.

Contract in MY. Paid in MYR. Need permit for what?
Most of SG are drone restricted areas. Only a few permitted areas allowed to fly drones....

Thank you for replying! Quotation in MY. Paid in SGD. Noted on the drone part. The wedding is at Marina Bay Sands. Do you have any idea where I can check the permitted areas to fly the drones?

That is arguable. For example, If I'm contracted in MY, paid in MY, but asked to go SG for meeting (work), I don't need a permit. The transaction did not happen on foreign land. Thoughts?
P.S. No idea where to get permit. Sure rejected wan laa... especially in MBS.

Do you have any idea where I can check the permitted areas to fly the drones? MBS a bit hard. The safest place for you to fly a drone is near Marina Barrage (1.278892, 103.871506), this is the place where most drone enthusiasts go. I've seen people fly drone near SG Flyer but risky.
