Tencent has a few bloatware which can easily be uninstall. There are 2 or 3 apps i think cannot uninstall. Like their browser, their app store and one more is the theme store i think.
So far this phone is buttery smooth and the battery is awesome. Still testing out the SOT on it.

So far so good. The phone is long. But i guess you will get over it.
As for the Rom i find it ok. I not sure how different will it be when the international vers is out. But so far i am ok with it.
For gesture function i not sure is it going be similar to the z6. As this 1 seems different. The back gesture like huawei. If u have use huawei gesture. The back is slide from the side of screen which i don't really like. Prefer the slide up.
But i give this phone a thumbs up esp. for the battery

I use 90GHz is more then enough, for me i think 120GHz overkill for me haha
This is a dual sim support phone

Dual standby but i only use single sim. Guess it won't be a problem.
I had the mate 20 x, but it was nv a comfort for one hand use and putting it in my jeans was also no good.
But the ROG 2 is more fit for one hand though heavier cause of the battery. The SOT was awesome too.

Finger cross, I not sure software update will be buttery smooth like Huawei. My experience samsung always make battery degraded e.g. SOT getting shorter on everytime update. For Huawei, so far so good nothing issue coming out. If Huawei planning to use harmonyOS I might push my trigger for Rog2.

I will wait for 512GB storage. Right now, my internal memory 128GB almost full.

Taobao?

There are definitely differences.

1. The hear dissipation. This phone is a monster when it comes to that. You do not only get more stable frame rates and performance, you tend to have less sweaty palms after long hours if gaming too.

2. The refresh rate. If, wang zhe one day decides to follow vainglory, in supporting 120hz refresh rate, this is will be crazy.

3. The 240hz and 1ms touch response. This is by far the most most most responsible screen ever. Though more feel-able in FPS games, but it helps in all games I'm sure.

4. The air trigger. The air trigger on the original ROG phone was crap, in terms of position and responsiveness. Not anymore. Ulti your way faster with the L1 R1.

5. Battery life. This monstrous battery life just keeps giving and giving and giving.

6. Ergonomics. It's more than a gaming device than a phone. When in landscape it just fits. The not tapered sides just feels a console better.

7. Speakers. Ditch your headphones. The stereo speakers are no match.

8. The quad mics. Android has always been suckish when it comes to in game mic communication. I always get complains from team mates using apple devices. Not anymore.

The tencent version comes with Google Framework, but no in-built Google Play store , but just need to download apk then can install easily.

It also comes with some Tencent bloatware (games, apps etc) which some can be removed if want.

Downgrade specs in which part?

Where did you buy it from? Online from JD/Taobao? I'm worried about SIRIM and kastam tax if import myself
