Waiting for the international set and see how things go. To decide to buy at taobao without warranty, or import set at 3k. Or else international set.

The international set also don't know when. Just check with Driectd they cannot confirm. But so far the import set i had no problem. I mean compared to those previous import set i use. Google playstore can dl from the asus store itself.

Anything about the phone you wanna complain about? Just now went to mobile2go. Too bad they doesn't have display set. If I raba raba and I like it I might pick one on the spot.

So far so good. The phone is long. But i guess you will get over it.
As for the Rom i find it ok. I not sure how different will it be when the international vers is out. But so far i am ok with it.
For gesture function i not sure is it going be similar to the z6. As this 1 seems different. The back gesture like huawei. If u have use huawei gesture. The back is slide from the side of screen which i don't really like. Prefer the slide up.
But i give this phone a thumbs up esp. for the battery

Just bought it from seven mobile. Feels like an upgrade from OnePlus 5t. However having mix feeling as my OnePlus still working fine. Haha..

Aerocase doesn't provide a lot of protection.

Anyone has any casing and screen protector to suggest?

No doubt OP5T is still a decent phone.

But once you have tested 90Hz/120Hz, it's hard to go back to 60Hz.  flex.gif

Sigh.. not a lot of case in the market. Even taobao. Not gonna use it as my daily driver till I get some screen protector and case.

actually go shopee and have a look. When i was super tempted to buy I looked into some cases, and I do find that there are some decent case that looked similar to some spigen airpocket case. Those are good, using it on my S8+, dropped a few times from at least waist height and a couple of time on the road, but still well protected. Then again they didnt mention anything related to compatibility with the Aero Cooler, but based on the latest jerryrigeverythign teardown, it seems like as long as the air vent is not covered, cooling should still be decent.

I think I know which one you meant. Spigen is a good product however they not produce for rog phone 2 I think. If they do I would definitely buying it. Anyway stuff in shopee are usually from taobao too. I will be buying it without any other choice tho.

For screen protector, personally I have been using Mobile outfitters(formerlly known as clear coat) for years now, while it doesnt claims that it will prevent cracked screen on your phone from drop, it does offer some impact absorption. I didnt really feel any sensitivity drop after using it for 2.5 years, apart from if the screen is too oily. Their initial cost is expensive (almost Rm200 now?), but u can get lifetime replacement as long as it's the same phone, and each replacement only cost few bucks as labor fee during weekday (they charge higher on weekend due to higher demand).

Wow will check it out.

For tempered glass, you can try this: -

https://www.lelong.com.my/asus-rog-phone-ii...7-01-Sale-I.htm

The seller has a small little shop in Klang Parade, can even help you to apply. It’s where I usually go to get my Asus accessories coz they are really hard to find biggrin.gif

Wanted to get this. But having mix review, some said it doesn't fit nicely. So I removed it. Bought 2 case from taobao, let see how it goes.

Honestly at this point. I'm worry there won't be a better case coming out.

Honestly for those that saying is an Asus phone..can't make your self to spend more than 3k for a phone like this.

Let's say Samsung or other big brands create "gaming" phone with impressive spec. You think the price would still be at 3k?

Anyone having gps problem on their rog phone 2?

I'm using Malaysia set. Seems like the signal pretty weak. Most of the time I'm lost in Waze.

One of my major reason to change phone cuz my old phone gps a bit cacat. But now it feels better than rog phone 2 in terms of gps ;(

Will the same issue happen for Google Map? My guess is Waze is the source of the problem...

Did not try Google map. Will try tomorrow. Anyway I thought Google bought over Waze, so I assume signal should be the same.

I personally like Waze a lot.

Edit - not sure it helps, but I turned off adaptive battery management. GPS seems to be a a lot better now.

Thanks tho
