Cleaning the throttle body and sensors usually will help. 8 years old car man. Sure got lots of dirt build up in there.

QUOTE(hoeyu1996 @ Jul 22 2019, 08:57 PM) suddenly delay or all the while like this? if all the while like this then nothing much to be done.. its the nature of campro engine behavior. This i took out for comparison. Your should have the IIAFM which is better. Notice the dip in torque from 2.5k to 4k. That is the general range where you need your power delivery. IIAFM designed to improve this but still not 100% solving the prob. On my old persona iiafm also i feel the power delivery only comes in with high rev. >4k rpm. You can do a remap of your ecu to increase the throttle response so that you can get higher rpm faster. But on the other hand you have to sacrifice your fc. |

Throttle delay usually is the result of worn out throttle especially the rubber seals. Instead of doing a full throttle overhaul you can try those AT treatment like E3 auto treatment or JVauto treatment which cost less than RM100. If still cannot fix that means your throttle is badly worn and need to do overhaul.

Try looking up Dori or Zordaq garage via facebook. They have this thing called paddle response package. Around RM100 which includes throttle body cleaning.

Throttle delay on Campro? Wait until you drive Vento 1.6, I drive gen2 Campro cursed it's throttle delay, but now drive Vento 1.6 more lag press throttle I think 0.5 sec only car rev up, traffic jam more obvious. Switch back gen2 drive always over rev due to used to Vento's throttle lag and keep pushing throttle deep..
