just my luck. my phone got this error when charging today. Now the battery stop charge after 60%.



I already googled this issue, seems to be software issue. Only solution I found is to downgrade to EMUI9 using the HiSuite. But the the option to downgrade in HiSuite is no longer available. Last resort is to do the factory reset. 

EMUI 12 appeared on the p30 pro yesterday. I guess it's based on Android 10 as well? Anyone else got it?

Wow! you lucky one, have you installed it? How is the new update or from surface you don't even know there is a change.

Has been good since install.

Fonts are different for sure. Interface snappy as usual. Some differences for sure as the pulldown for notifications has changed to the top left. The settings interface from right top pulldown is also different now .

Not seen any major impact on battery so far. Still lasts as long even though almost 2.5yrs old now.

got my EMUI 12 today.  not surprising, in About Phone, it only show EMUI 12.  the android version info removed.  feel kinda weird but with the craziness around the world, not aurprised.

so far i see mostly interface changes.  font la,pill down la.  looks more modern.  i m not a power user so im ok with or without the new interface.  i jist wan security updates which is now Feb 2022.

After experience the battery drain issue on my device, I hope I didn't press the update button.....

Just an update of the Battery usage duration, back to normal after 3 full charging.

Normally once there is a major updates the old setting required updated or readjusted that's why some of the sifu advise to hard reset the device. Nowadays smart phone battery has a chips in it where some value being stored, draining for few cycle these values will be updated and adjusted according to suit the new setup. But this is my on personal opinion and experience la.
