Resizing ties - can anyone do it?

I was wondering if there are any shops that are able to resize ties, essentially get the older, large width stuff (3.5") down to 2.5" instead. Would be great if there were tailors/tiemakers that could do them here in Malaysia, could save a bunch of cash.

yes. any gents tailor can do. a place? start 1st at pudu plaza.
