Hi, anyone here had experience of natural delivery with Dr. Ragu from Assunta? Collecting opinions because he seems very pro-cesarean. He kept reminding me in each consultation that i am not guaranteed to be able to deliver naturally. He seems very laid back about my high glucose levels and assured me can be controlled by oral medicine whereas the KK nurses were very anxious about it so I am a bit frightened I have gestational diabetes but would like to deliver naturally if possible. EDD early september this year, appreciate reviews asap! This post has been edited by xinmay: Jul 19 2019, 10:33 AM

Hi, I just had hysterectomy (through ceasarean) with Dr Ragu and I’m a diabetic. I don’t think he’s pro-ceasarean unless it’s necessary. I would trust the doctors rather than the nurses.
He insisted trying other methods to stop my heavy bleeding. After 3 attempted failed oral & injection procedure, the last resort was hysterectomy.
Dr Ragu was the head of O&G in Hopsital Ampuan Klang (one of the busiest hospitals) for several years. I trust his judgement.
Based on my experience with several doctors, after going thru 3 ceasreans & 1 hysterectomy in several hospitals, he’s the best & Assunta is also the best. Both Dr & Hospital will make sure you’re well taken care of.
Hope your delivery goes well.

Abit uneasy tho I was not informed of a episiotomy prior delivery, it all didn't matter now
