Totolink A7000R Wifi AC2600 Router Review:

Hi all, today I want to do review about Totolink A7000R Router review.These router look rectangular shape design and look long but have convenient hand carry to compare you buy switch because now a days Malaysia not provide plastic beg anymore so you need to prepare it otherwise pay RM0.20 to get the biodegrapeable beg provide by shop.These router antenna look like predator.I buy at low yat plaza because I have limited budget. These router have dual band frequency one is 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz.If you want faster download streaming 4K Video,playing online games you can choose 5Ghz.5Ghz coverage less interference but not too far coverage compare wireless 2.4Ghz.These router support unifi IPTV it.These router support 800Mbps it depend your ISP area coverage.It support TM Unifi,Maxis Fiber,Time Fiber ISP.It also have Access Point,Repeater,Router Mode it.My home internet speed is sign up 100Mbps Package unifi.These router I found have Access Point,Repeater,Router Mode.

-1733Mbps for 5Ghz wifi speed,800Mbps for 2.4Ghz wifi speed.(Wifi Chipset is Mediatek MT7615N)
-4pcs Gigabit Lan Port and 1pcs Gigabit Wan port.
-Many tiny holes at top and bottom to dissipate the heat for long hours usage wireless router.



-On Screen Display Language support for English,Simplified Chinese,Traditional Chinese,Vietnam and last Russian Language.



IPv6 Settings with RADVD+SLACC.
Connection type have Static IP,PPPoE and Dynamic IP and site Prefix Type have delegated and static.



QOS:
QOS is bandwidth control to limit all client devices or selected ip range to limit client devices.



Below is left 2.4ghz wifi connection and right 5ghz wifi connection speedtest(after set the QOS Setting)



Speedtest for 2.4Ghz near with router and wifi strength:
- Use Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
-Dr Wifi Apps



11 meter Speedtest 2.4Ghz:
-Measurement by long distance with 2 bar wifi signal indicator.



Channel 2.4Ghz,Channel Width selection and Wifi Region selection when interference happen it:
Channel 2.4Ghz Selection have 1 to 13 and channel width 20Mhz or both 20Mhz/40Mhz.



Speedtest for 5Ghz near with router and wifi strength:
-Use Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe.
-Dr Wifi Apps



7 meter Speedtest 5Ghz:
-Measurement by long distance with 1 bar wifi signal indicator.



Channel 5Ghz,Channel Width selection and Wifi Region selection when interference happen it:
Channel 5Ghz Selection have 60,64,100,104,108,112,116,120,124,128,132,136,140,149,153,157,161 and channel width selection 20Mhz,20Mhz/40Mhz and 80Mhz




Speedtest for Lan Speed:

URL Filtering:
We suggest you clean the history cache then use these URL Filtering it.Otherwise the internet browser will remember website you visit before it.



Video URL Filtering:


These router also have DDNS(www.3322.org,www.oray.com,no-ip,dydns),port forwarding,vpn passthrough.



To improve router performance it also have reboot schedule to archieve quality control and reliable.Reboot Schedule you can select either specific time or countdown mode.Wireless Schedule divide week,start time and end time to turn on or off wifi connection to create a low-power consumption & healthy Eco-friendly environment for baby, mother and your whole families.



Youtube Review for totolink A7000R:
Sound is Chinese.



Verdict:Stable internet connection and no overheat issue,suitable 800Mbps internet speed.
Good:
+Internet wan Connection Stable
+URL Filtering can block website facebook,youtube,weibo,youku for either pc or notebook.
+Reboot Schedule router performance either specific time or countdown selection.
+Many tiny hole to dissipate heat router performance
+Support IPv6 Settings together with RADVD+SLACC
+Sexy and handsome antenna design.

Bad:
x-No USB port for file sharing and printer sharing.
x- URL filtering failed to block twitter website for pc or notebook and mobile apps smartphone like facebook,youtube,weibo,youku apps also failed it.

i saw dfs channel there, is it really support?

You mean wifi 5Ghz,wifi 2.4Ghz or wifi 6 channel.Above channel i mentioned is wifi 5ghz and wifi 2.4ghz.Thank you.

you know you can do screen shot instead of us looking at you squinting over the phone ?

Another thing is..what is 1 bar 2 bar?
better just use the app to show what's the dBm reading

5Ghz, that some of channel you mentioned above is for dfs channel. Because some of other routers that support dfs channel cannot acts its should do.

Thank you for your advice,next time review i will improve.Another way 1 bar 2bar mean wifi signal indicator.Another thank you for your advice.Only I will improve the way for 1bar or bar and add dbm reading.

you enquiry channel width have 160Mhz have support or not?Only Wireless AX have 160Mhz

Let's you read it picture have improvement it.

Today I buy 10pcs for Time Fiber Installation for people house,It is good,stable and easy configuration.

How much of these router on market selling?

But configuration wise i think less functional like Firewall and Protection ?

Totolink upgrade firmware received some love as at December 2020 it is now way better interface and can access via phone easily.

I heard these router have can flash third party firmware like Open WRT.
