For example. Top up rm50 can last for 1 year .
Or anything similar please ?

Thanks

Currently, only unifi prepaid provides 90 days of active period for any top up amount, and other method of extending 90 days of validity is by using 1 min call/sms/small amount of data, 5 unit is enough for a year

Next is onexox, rm25/year, but the plus is any amount of reload extends your active date by the same number

Other Telco extend your validity by reload amount, and starting date of validity follows reload amount or current validity, whichever the farthest

If you just want to keep the sim alive, a lot option available
- purchase rm1 validity for extended grace period for several major telco, rm5-8 per year, about 5 days active per year
- yoodo rm3 for sms, rm15 per year, 120 days active per year

1. Unifi prepaid is cheapest to start ... 90 days active but don't forget to use it on day 90 or it dies on day 91

2. Onexox mnp is 2nd cheapest ... mnp your old number and get 28 months validity for only rm10

3. Onexox new number is 3rd cheapest ... simpack rm10 + rm30 for season pass welcome deal + 28 months validity

4. Altel prepaid could be useful ... simpack rm7 + topup rm30 - rm28 for 1 year validity + rm30 topup to confirm validity ... comes with basic internet for a whole year this way ... just that it could be a bit hard to find altel dealer ...

I'm also looking for one... based on my research:

1. Unifi Prepaid - Cheapest but quite vague regrading the "maintain the line by calling, sms, or use data every 90 days". And if you are oversea, you can't do that. Their app doesn't explicitly show the expiry/termination date, so it is up to them when to change the T&C and terminate your line (and you know how TM treat their consumer so badly). Safest is topup RM10 every 90 days, that's RM40/year.

2. XOX Prepaid - Very long: 28 months! But I went through the XOX Prepaid thread, seems like their CS is very lousy and sometimes not able to receive SMS. Seems like a deal breaker for me.

3. Other telco prepaid - normally comes with 1-2 months grace period after expired before termination. So can topup RM5 every month, so RM60/year. Good if only for maintain the line but not using it (call, sms, data)

Then just take yoodo. Reload a certain amount into the wallet. It will auto renew SMS (RM3) or Calls RM5) every month without worry.

For 1, TM will send you an email regarding your number going to expire(terminated I mean) on the 80th day. If you don't have the sim/can't use it being overseas and forget your account password, you can go to their centre and have it reactivated (but better got 2-3 working days before the termination as they take some time to reactivate your account)

After 28 months and the same situation happens? No difference

Good thing about unifi, any reload value gives 90 days of validity

Overseas and forgot everything about unifi mobile except the phone number? Just make a reload every 85 days thru internet banking, the value is stored and can be used later

Forgot everything about xox except phone number? Use the same technique, but every 45 days
