Sorry to say but in my opinion Terengganu and Kelantan is not in an investable state yet.
Why? Because people there are still going for land ownership. Although Terengganu is not as bad as Kelantan, but this is what stopping them from building a decent-structured township.

For me, Terengganu is the place for retire to stay with peace especially near beaches (aside from Tsunami threat)
For investment, it is not wise to choose.

Why bother?
Nothing good ever takes off here and good luck getting them to pay you rent on time.

I also lived here. Bought myself a home. Landed. Not cheap
My thought after 5 years, not worth to invest here. Rent price higest at rm1k even at O&G area. So makes house at lower than rm200k worth for the investment - which is not possible to get one
So better u invest ur money at KL or elsewhere

It will takes a lot of effort and money to do that

Unless I hired someone to manage or sublet. But it is a brilliant idea for those people who do not have many choice.

Agreed Many people here buy a parcel of land then build semi-D then sold at certain price and repeat the process sampai lebam. Not buy a ready unit then hold for certain period,, like KL/Selangor
