Today...marked the end of Ex Kerismas & Tamingsari. Just around this afternoon, missiles were successfully launched on target as a closing for these exercises. Sharing pics of the exercises.... video will be uploaded later.....

Missile not to be used against non-state actors

Because its too costly...and cruise missile normally cant lock small vessel, because its designed to hit bigger size vessel

Millions.... btw that what we pay for insurance of our safety. And those missiles..... we at about the end of its life span.

Teringat tanggal 2014....lupa lak tarikh dia. Jari bertuah ni.... had a positive control on blackshark torpedo, upon firing till it hit the target. History had been made.... 1st navy in the world to launch blackshark war configuration

Yup...VECTAC. even for ASW.... could send heli with dipper & torpedo to track subs faster & wider coverage

The old WWII got cannon.... yes gun is waterproof as long as u dont fire in the water. Once fired, mechanism will damage.

We have 10 ops all around malaysia waters that require at least 15 ships must be at sea without fail. With too much conflict around...plus ageing assets..... quite hard to fulfill

We conduct exercise not to scare others...especially major powers. We do exercise to train our boys & prepare them for any incoming conflict.... not to win the war....but delay the incoming threat towards malaysia soil.... to win time for rakyat to take cover & international organisation to participate

Fyi range foul is not our system foul. Its the range itself... the parameters that are not safe to conduct firing. We have SOP... before missile firing is conducted. 2-3 days or even a week earlier we will issue warning to every mariners & airmen about the firing. At the same time, we broadcasted to the local fishermen.

About 12 hrs before firing.... warships, heli, MPA will be sent around the designated area to clear from any contact. This is done by visual & radar watch. If anything inside, the clearance ship will signal range foul & firing will be postpone or cancel.

In this situation, there was a fishing boat detected & a warship need to be sent to chase it out till its clear. That is what range foul is all about.

PRC only close to bintulu & miri area...they never come to peninsular part.

Not much.... 30mm guns & seawolf. Point defence only....sad but true
