The Sadness - Wah! This Taiwan movie is SHOCKING ME! 3.5 out of 5 star to me.
The title seems meaningless to me, I can't join the title to the storyline.

- Perverted Index 100%
- Gore Index 100%
- Violence Index 100%

It is a story about virus pandemic sudden happen like COVID-19 but the output is those infection people went crazy and kill people, eat people, fxxk people.
They are not zombies as they can talk and think.

This Taiwan film is directing and writing by Canadian Filmmaker - Rob Jabbaz.
This is Rob Jabbaz 1st directing film, before this he only have direct 4 short animation.

X - I don't buy this film is so high rating, they said it return to old classic horror and give you everything you want. It is so predictable and boring.
Also I gonna category this film as Porn. Remember adjust your volume as they ahhhh crazy hideous loud! 1 out of 5 star to me. Sorry I don't like it and I nearly fall in sleep when watching.
Every main actor / actress is fully strip in this film. The title X is really suite this film. 😅

FYI...

Unifi ultimate users just got their Disney+Hotstar app activated for free.

pretty good library - movies, tv series... MCU superheroes, X-men, Star Wars... + tv series, old and new, quite a lot.

newer ones are in 4k HDR, DD5.1; older ones a mix.

enjoy! thumbsup.gif

Users can only open Disney+ Hotstar using the box? Meaning it's not directly registered to us (that requires our phone number to login, etc)?

Oh, it's out already in Disney+? Nice, I saw the announcement earlier in the month. Do I need to watch Spiderman the latest one to understand Dr Strange better?

Just finished watching these:

Dr Strange Multiverse - I kinda like the dark tone of the movie that was set. Probably not suitable for kids during the death scenes. And as always so many CGI on Marvel movies, not so much on story.

Book of Boba Fett - The series overall is quick slow. Everyone is taking their sweet time doing their own stuffs. The finale kinda disappointed as well, apart from few nice scenes.

Kenobi - First few episodes wasn't that great. If this is meant for reminiscence for prequel movies then yeah it is great. Finale was okay, but have some stuffs which I thought "hrmmm".

Onwards to the next set of movies and series!

Had some time to watch movies, so I just randomly watch The Man from Toronto. Actually what make me intrigue to see this movie was a clip from Netflix MY account showing someone deep fried a durian.

Good action comedy lightweight movie, action probably doesn't have wow factor. Probably will rate it around 2.5 - 3 out of 5.

Also just finished watching Loki series. Usually for me a multi-dimensional universe is a mess from my point of view, but that was quite a good series from Marvel. Hopefully can unravel more in season 2. 4/5 for me.

What about the in ear ones? Last time I tested Shure SE215 feels so nice in place in my ear, don't need to push inside your ear canal. The subsequent SE models should feel the same as the design is same as well. But SE215 was wired, probably look something similar wireless?

This one is a special one....u either hate it or like it. biggrin.gif

The Menu.... starring Ralph Fiennes.. a dark horror comedy.

I m not sure of the morale of the story but i think it's poking fun at the gourmet circuit.

highly acclaimed food critics can't even cook a decent lamb chop... shud u trust what the say?! laugh.gif

those who spend $1000 for a dinner can't remember what they eat, can't tell if it was cod or halibut!

ok, no more spoilers. biggrin.gif

put in local context... if u can't tell garoupa from soon hock, better save yr money! laugh.gif

Finally watched Interstellar in movie, had never seen it before (even trailers) and been postponing until I get better AV system. But then GSC is showing it for the WB100 anniversary, so immediately took the chance to watch it.

WHY NO ONE TOLD ME IT'S A SAD STORY

When the movie was out years ago, I went to cinema alone (so as not to be disturbed by family or friends), chose the best perfectly positioned seat of an big screen theater with best Atmos sound available, to enjoy the best cinematic experience for this film.

I ended up trying to hold my tears as I was there alone sitting besides a huge guy with lots of muscle, just in case that fella thought I was a sissy eunuch.
Ps: Just guessing you must be at middle age with your own young kid, am I right?

I was watching with my wife, and our 3 year old was playing outside with a babysitter. The scenes kinda hit me hard. I cried a bit even though I tried hard holding in the tears,

Had some time a couple of weeks back to watch movies that I couldn't watch before.

Bullet Train - Such an awesome movie, with comedy and action balanced throughout the movie. I might be biased because it had Japanese elements in it, but I really liked the visuals. And when it all come together at the end, it feels like all are falling down to their places nicely. What I really liked was each relevant characters have their brief intro, then continues back to main story. Feels the movie is complete at the end.

21 and 22 Jump Street - The first one feels more comedic that the sequel, but I'm glad they ended the sequels at the end of movie. Been meaning to watch since watching a couple of shorts from Instagram; "My name's Jeff" videos. Good light hearted movie for both.

Next on my list will probably Dune or Batman, hope I can enjoy both movies later.
