Dolby surround can be encoded using L+R channels back when Laserdiscs and VHS were around in analog and PCM. Are you saying YouTube now allows Dolby 5.1 on the general channels instead of their paid content?

You are right bro.. rca can transmit surround codec. Youtube now allow 5.1... I wasn't aware until it was showing surround codes on my avr and I google abt it
From YouTube or other source? Netflix allow u to check statistic that will you abt code if pc support it. Phone wise I dun think video atmos can be played but tidal do allow Dolby atmos audio to play on supported device

a few comment about it thou i own a dolby atmos compatible phone (samseng note 10+)
1) while playing audio, turning on dolby atmos seems to alter the EQ rather than to have surround effect
2) Not sure if any of the apps like Youtube/Netflix even support multichannel like how they support it over PC/TV.
3) Tidal support dolby atmos on my phone but i m not sure if those model without dolby atmos is having the same option. Also, i cant compare as i din spend time to find normal album vs atmos album to compare

Wow! This movie CGI is brilliant! HDR is stunning! Audio is spectacular! Story is good. 4.5 Star.

Re-watching the entirety of Game of Thrones, UHD in DV and Atmos after getting the itch from watching the shitshow that is House of Dragons.

Season 1 GoT is still legendary. Holy shit the details in season 1 is still unmatched by any TV show today - the story structure, characters and performance of the actors, the visual and aural details... WOW I didn't remember them to be this good, shows how far down the shit hole TV shows has gone now a days.
