Watched Doctor Strange.
I thought I watching Ghost Rider ft. Mummy.

Nowadays all Marvel story lines cause by this tiny thing? Spider-man caused can't enter to University while Wanda wanna be kids mother?

Yalo. Exactly.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - i think it's just ok overall.

very colorful, plenty CGI... lousy multiverse story, too much scarlet witch wanda.

feeble attempts to lump in various versions of charles xavier, cap america, cap marvel, black bolt, mr fantastic.

poor performance by the girl playing chavez. 2.5/5.
crimes of the future is a slow sci fi horror drama.

while it doesn't strike as a great sci fi flick, it isn;t boring; the underlying idea is terrifying.

good performance by viggo mortensen, lea seydoux. 2.5/5.

Beside CGI good, nothing is good.

Open disney+ hotstar on both my Nvidia Shield & Apple TV both show no 4K, Vision, 5.1 for Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
Open my Iphone and see no Dolby Vision logo.
Open my LG WebOS and open D+H app, and viola, 4K, Vision, 5.1 logo all there.

Hotstar oh Hotstar ... why so inconsistent ?

Hotstar normally slow a bit to be consistence, after few days, the 4K DV will appear.

After watch feel like this movie is just redundant, pointless to produce this movie... perhaps just want people to recall the first Jurassic Park with a few scenes reminiscent on that...

Exactly, very disappointing. I put high hope on this film but it just like watching a high budget B class film. 😅

Just finished watching these:

Dr Strange Multiverse - I kinda like the dark tone of the movie that was set. Probably not suitable for kids during the death scenes. And as always so many CGI on Marvel movies, not so much on story.

Book of Boba Fett - The series overall is quick slow. Everyone is taking their sweet time doing their own stuffs. The finale kinda disappointed as well, apart from few nice scenes.

Kenobi - First few episodes wasn't that great. If this is meant for reminiscence for prequel movies then yeah it is great. Finale was okay, but have some stuffs which I thought "hrmmm".

Onwards to the next set of movies and series!

Holiday yesterday, finally get to watch a movie.

Put on Doctor Stress in the Multiverse of Stupidity and was.... disappointed. Not sure why I expected Disney to finally stop sunat on the bass, but here we are once again, another movie that's bogged down because of the weak AF LFE. I've already mux the Atmos track from the UHD disc to the Disney+ IMAX stream version. The UHD Atmos track is on average ~6db louder than the lossy DD+ Atmos track on the stream, yet it's still so lifeless.

Audio quality aside, the IMAX version is quite a treat otherwise. Dolby Vision from Disney+ is better than the HDR10 on the UHD disc. Entire movie is so clean, no grain, very little banding, but unfortunately a little bit of macro blocking in heavy CGI scenes (in the beginning 5 minutes this is very apparent).

Nothing to say about the plot because there's really no plot. A woman who's going through menopause wants children, goes on a rampage to achieve that. Ok lul.

Lightyear - a very beautiful animation but the story just simply too blank and kind of boring. I don't see great meaningful thing also like what Pixar do previously.

As for that kiss is overeating for both party - Disney and banned country. It is not required scenes and meaningless... come on it is just 0.2 seconds that did not add any point to the story.

I give it 3 out of 5 star and I not going to re-watch again as it is very boring.

House of Gucci

A film by Ridley Scott. Despite the length of the movie, the storyline moved fairly quickly. A must watch for drama seeker for sure. The effort of the main actor actress by LadyGaga and Adam Driver was vastly overshadowed by the old timers Al Pacino and Jeremy Irons.

As usual one cannot find fault from Ridley Scott in terms of cinematography and general making of the film. I would rate it 3/5, point deducted from relatively poor acting from the main actor.

The Black Phone 4/5. Horror/Drama.

It's good thumbsup.gif

Some points deducted for some certain plot holes but it's negligible overall.

The Gray Man is an action thriller.

star studded, impressive cast - Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thornton.

a bit like jason bourne, and a serial franchise is planned. cost $200mil!

my verdict - something is missing in this movie... it is ok, plenty of action but somehow, i find it average only.

somewhat disappointing... maybe captain america is not suitable to play a villain! biggrin.gif 2.5/5.

agree with you the other $200mil netflix blockbuster (Red Notice) did a better job.
This audio some with spot on LFE some are rather bad in the sound effect. The storyline also pretty draggy. Still recommend to watch if you have nothing better in ur list blush.gif

Men - The scenery was pretty, the background music was awesome! But I not sure how to judge this film. Is it bad? Not really. Is it good? Not also.
Too unusual weird horror film.
