The RM 200 for local set is just for the warranty. Personally I don't need it as I consider myself to be a careful user.

I have been buying original imported sets with shop warranties for over 5 years and had no problems with any of them.

The cheapest I can find on Shopee from local sellers are this and this.

I recently bought one for RM 639 during the 10.10 sale. Bought it from this seller that I regularly buy from. The price dropped to RM 655 and I used my Shopee coins. Received it on 12 October, Saturday.

Been using it since and it is by far the best phone I have ever used in terms of features. SD 665 is more of a sidegrade than an upgrade to the Mi A2's SD 660. The screen despite the Pentile 720p is not too bad. I can deal with it since AMOLED is just better than an IPS panel.

How's the battery life bro? no gaming sot nice?
the screen wise i not sure, as this phone i will get it for mostly video watching, not much reading, and i think should not hurt much.

one main concern is the minimum brightness. Gsmarena review mentioned that it is eye blinding 14 nits compare to others going as low as 1-2 nits. is it true?

Battery life is very good. Max I managed to get was 9 hours SOT. Mainly used for reading, browsing, social, YT, local stored videos and around 1 hour of Waze.

I did not test gaming as I don't really play games anymore.

At first I thought the 720p screen would be bad, but after playing around with a demo set at a store I concluded its not too bad. That made me buy the phone.

Minimum brightness is dim but not too dark. Don't really have a point of comparison on this as I don't have another phone with AMOLED. Been years since I used a phone with AMOLED.

thats what i would like to hear. The 9 hour sot is great, and our phone usage is similar.

about the minimum brightness, is use it in total darkness will it be too bright? i watch movies a lot when accompanying my kids sleeping.
