 Fruits - before of after meal ?

When it comes to getting the most benefit, in terms of absorption and such, one is recommended to eat fruit before or after meal?

You eat fruit to cleanse your palette after eating a meal, not to ease digestion.

Fruits should be eaten 30 minutes before meals, for maximum absorption of nutrients and proper digestion.

Fruits eaten after meals will stay too long in the stomach till they become fermented.

I take fruits before a meal to make myself full so I don't overeat.

In cooking, tomatoes are known as a vegetable
Tomato grow out as a fruit so scientist recognize
tomato as a fruit. Also because it has seeds inside.

If tomato are planted on the ground, it grows into a plant.

Middle East break fast with dates which is a fruit
CNY snack on mandarin oranges fruit
Americans eat corn along with meals.
Some eat durian with rice as meals.

There are other suggestions above

With the exception of comment where if eat fruit after meal
the fruit will get fermented in your stomach.
This is only true if you eat fruit that is beyond ripe.

Also there maybe nothing wrong with eating fermented food
Koreans eat kimchi and Malays eat sambal

If eat before meal then food will go through digestive tract faster
so digestion may not extract the most from the fruit but
that is natural.

If you want to get the most out of tomato,
best to juice the tomato, but if juicing is troublesome,
just chew and eat it. Because fruits are one of the most
nutritious food you can get. Enjoy
