Three brands that I've been researching: Tuma, AireGard, Elta

TUMA
- Smallest unit is 21x21cm
- Noise at 29dB
- Extraction at 70cfm
- Consumes the least power due to DC motor
- Option of lighting combo

AireGard
- Smallest unit at 26x26cm
- Noise at 36dB
- Extraction at 90cfm
- No lighting combo

Elta
- Smallest unit at 30x30cm
- Noise at 29dB
- Extraction at 127cfm
- Option of lighting combo

Anyone have any experience to share when it comes to this?

Thanks in advance

Will definitely pull the ducting to vent outside.

From what I read, Tuma has the lowest power consumption due to the DC motor. Both AireGard and Elta Trade are AC motors. However, not sure how long does DC motor last if compared with AC motor.

Based on calculation, I would need 40cfm. But don't mind the extra power - sometimes #2 very smelly.

Was almost gonna buy Tuma since they have ones with LED and I don't have to punch another hole and pull wiring. Then I saw Elta Trade, who also have LED built in. So, now more options, more headache.

Noise level is ok la. Not gonna stay in there for hours, so anything below 40dB is bearable I guess.

Thanks for the links.

I was looking at this model for Elta. 127cfm, 29dB, option of LED.

May I know where do you guys go to view options for exhaust fan? Is there any showroom I could visit?

I saw Elta at home fairs. Airegard at Harvey Norman. Tuna, you can go look for zheilwane's shop in Kepong.

I figured price doesn't matter much. It's a one time investment, so better be good quality and good after sales service.

Nop bro, i only have tuma here smile.gif So if u guys interested to know anything i can always shoot a simple video and post it here

example, client whatsapp me to enquire about sunnygo LED light, whether it is replaceable with a compatible brand, as the cost is not too high (rm26), i purchased a downlight from nearest lighting shop n shoot a simple video smile.gif

Can you show how the backdraft lid closes? Is it tight, or there's a big gap? Reason is I want to see if I can connect the fan from 2 bathrooms into one vent duct.

Thanks.
