Hello

i'm living in a landed individual title terrace house in MBSA jurisdiction. The tree planted by developer is troublesome to me coz leaves falling down like autumn season.

MBSA does a good job sweeping the leaves regularly... Can i ask MBSA to cut it? I am happy to buy and plant other type of tree...

Which department i can make a complaint or I can inform that i want to cut the tree....

i think MBSA has a landscape dept. Technically any tree over 4 inch is protected by local by law. However, as someone suggested there are ways to make it disappear. Anything over 4 inch a bit hard to dispose whole tree esp the stump so might be best if the relevant dept can clear for you foc.

A tree in front of my house which was the source of pesky insects was kidnapped (treenaped) a while ago. Unfortunately the horrid treenapers did give a ransom demand, so i couldnt save it 😭 In its memory, There is now a lovely japanese rose garden in its place, and no pesky insects😁

So, here is the thing.... directly chopping/ destroy the tree is against the rule.. u will get saman.. not when the tree die by itself...
