QUOTE(langatian @ Sep 5 2019, 02:30 PM) took them 4 years to bring in lolwhat is worse is that the engine is tuned to euro 2 diesel to meet poor beggars. The engine will only perform good if it is the same euro 4 emission like the one in thailand. Because currently euro 2 in malaysia consist lots of palm oil that maybe bad for diesel pickups It will build up black dirt very fast I was going to buy the isuzu mux 3.0 bluediesel. Waited so many years for it but eventually gave up |

QUOTE(langatian @ Sep 5 2019, 03:01 PM) Yes. From performance to fuel efficientlyThe quietness and smoothness also reduced but from the pictures paultan provide. Malaysia still using the tuned down euro 2 model We have euro 5 diesel in malaysia already. I would buy isuzu over any other pickups just because of the engine. Isuzu 4x4 engines are pretty reliable and probably better than hilux ones Thats the main reason why Thailand and Australia sales of the isuzu always #1 This post has been edited by Eternalgl0ry: Sep 5 2019, 03:26 PM |

Guys, just a noob question. I noticed the pickup for 4x4 needs some learning to do. Not like the usual sedan where you just floor it and it goes fast.
For pickup i assumed it needs to be downshifted(release the pedal and floor it) before accelerating. May i know what is the appropriate method to speed up when exiting a junction, overtaking or uphill driving? Ps: normal mode. Not power mode |

Acceleration is never a problem for various model of pick ups i driven lol. Never needed to floor the pedal during overtaking nor exiting junctions just throttle more and u'll feel the torque leading u away. Not power mode Typical sedan out there is no match to the early torque burst over low rpm from diesel engine in 4x4 pickups. Which model of 4x4 is that particularly 'sluggish' with acceleration? |

Go test drive Isuzu Dmax, you will feel even more sluggish compared with your hilux. For pickup i assumed it needs to be downshifted(release the pedal and floor it) before accelerating. But triton has no issue with pickup. Needs to drive more pickups to understand the powahhhhTypical sedan out there is no match to the early torque burst over low rpm from diesel engine in 4x4 pickups. Driven frontier, ranger t5,t6, dmax year 2015, colorado, vigo vnt, Mitsubishi l200 and triton.
None were sluggish in acceleration when compared to Na cars lol. Haven’t driven navara before but frontier’s acceleration were brutal and harsh though. Can feel the whole car lunge forward if u are not careful with the throttle haha. This post has been edited by kirakun: Sep 6 2019, 09:28 AM |
