After apple suddenly updated the MacBook Air, seems like 12-inch macbook cannot be found on the website anymore.

Too bad. That was a really cute laptop. Perfect for travelling. Maybe they are secretly working on a redesign to replace that.

I am surprised as well by the move but it does make sense as both models do canabalize each other's sales. I used to have the 12-inch and totally agree that it was the ultimate portable machine. Absolutely loved how slim and light it was.

yes. in terms of portability, it is the best.

i dun think they are going to do any redesign. i think they killed it becos the market for this model is too niche. too expensive.
if they are going to redesign, they will keep it like macbook air last time.

if have, pro do inform us. haha. last time i used to own the 2016 macbook m5 model but i sold it away and get the 2017 macbook pro touchbar instead.

if cheap, can buy to keep haha.

macbook pro 12 not same feeling with macbook air?

no, base model of macbook pro is better. it is just a little more ex than air.

there is no macbook pro 12-inch, it is macbook 12-inch.

solid wise to be frank, it is similar. but both macbook 12-inch and macbook air are having a 'wedge' shape while macbook pro is equal size for all edges which to me it looks better.

totally agreed with.. last time i hold the macbook 12 feel solid.. when try use mac air feel some empty while holding..

to be fair. it is. bigger screen, more thunderbot 3 ports, cheaper price etc.
