I am from a manufacturing of food factory.
For jan 2019 production, i have sugar, flour, eggs all dated 2018 december.
When i mix them in 2019, 2019 will be the manufacturing date of finished goods. The ingredient is documented as 2018. It is not wrong. This is according to moh and gmp requirement.
In a car for jan 2019 production , do you expect the chassis, body shell, lower arm, absorbers, seats, bulbs, wire, ecu and all to be 2019 jan? Manufacturing of chassis, the coil steel would be ordered way before Dec 2018 and would take some time to manufacture.
