I thought about a pv6 too as it was my childhood dream car. Test drove one. Then decided not to. Wont have time to fix it. I do see many owners trying their best to get a better price. even at 6k i did not take the car. But nevertheless a beautiful driving machine

It's ok still can buy if u change ur mind. My friend who's a mech says it's not too hard to maintain. He comes from Euro and conti background and is a big Alfa Romeo fan.. but maybe PV6 might not be a good only car to have unless got 2nd car to use

for the price, it's a nice car. smooth v6 engine with a nice sound. get the right exhaust setup, u might get 350z sound  drool.gif . If u have an extra money and the right mechanic to take care of the car..go for it.

Yup V6 great sounding. But old man like me cannot take the noise already. Just looking for a quiet ride lol

So far i have only seen 3 perdanas. Didnt know there was a manual variant. The one i drove was an auto transmission. I still remember it was powerful during that time and the driving experience was abit similar to Toyota camry except for the FC.

Ah nice to know that. How was the fuel consumption like for manual in town and highway driving? Yours was 222 or 312 gbox?

Front double wishbone suspension with independent rear suspension good for handling and comfort, why not?

The car worth less than 10k, 20k to spend for gearbox a bit too extreme no? Besides it's not that expensive anymore those gearboxes

ha. ya ya. last time government spent hunderds of k to repair the gearbox.

now the gearbox only rm2k in mudah

the reason to avoid the perdana is actually the lack of safety system.

Yup, airbag also tarak. But at least the body is quite rigid structurally unlike other Protons of that era
