kawan want to start a small factory. He ask me when is a chargeman required, don't need also ok? I dunno so i ask serious /k

Chargeman is electrician

depend what type of factory.

warehouse ? not need

manufacturing factory include main switch board or motor, yes for chargeman A0

if require genset, yes for chargeman A4.

you can find past time or visiting chargeman in market but illegal.

Small factory only. Mix and fill powder like bbq powder.

No backup generator or generators, got TNB electrical supply main board subboard, not so complicated.

Basically want to know if required by law to have chargeman. I cannot find it in the law books

if follow laws, any building or factory require register suruhanjaya tenaga.

mix and fill powder machine, i dont think require chargeman although it include motor starter panel.

*laws doesnt mention small factory or categories compulsory require a chargeman.

how many machines until require chargeman? Reading through the electricity supply act but don't see any mentioning of chargeman, so confusing around this chargeman thing. Boilerman and all more straightforward sia

chargeman = engineering technician=competent electrical technician

There are different level of WIREMEN and Chargemen.
Chargemen = Penjaga Jentera
Wiremen = Pendawai? ( not sure about this )
