Sorry cannot found news about this topic, so i open 1.
My item has been held by custom at 29/06/2019.
I check redit and other place, they said need to wait woo, until will realse. so i wait until now.
Seem not released yet.
I already call for Sg Posting, it said handle by Pos Laju already.
I just call pos laju, but seem no one pick up.
What can i do now? Want to know how before i direct go to pos laju.

Following because i want to know what to do if the parcel held by customs as well. Planning to purchase item >rm1000

Second this. I'm looking to buy something from ali express and it costs more than rm500, which if im not mistaken is the bare minimum value to get taxxed by custom?

rm500 is the minimum(may have been revised ,but not too sure on that ) for the item to be taxed , but then again , its really up to themwhether they want to tax or not based on my experience

Been buying a lot of figurines those days, my experience was custom will hold on to your items if they think the parcel is worth more than 500. Sometimes your sender will display the value together with the address, this will prompt custom to act as well. U will need to provide proof of purchase via bank receipt or something if u don't wanna get taxed.

if more than 500 then it will be hold by custom.

the procedure? custom will produce a tax document about the total you have to pay. Pos malaysia will then inform you about the item being detained.

You either go there and pay + collect yourself. or appoint pos malaysia as an agent to collect and pay on your behalf

and for your case, contact Pos Malaysia, not Pos Laju

usually how long need to wait pos Msia call us then?

Today i go to POS Malaysia Sabah, KK.
They check and told me that my item still in KLIA, not arrive here yet.
I asked i check status said hold by custom, what should i do?
They said pos malaysia will inform me if any taxes or special status.
I ask how long need to wait, she said around 1 week.
Then i tell here it 29th June already in malaysia.
Then she said again, maybe arrive soon if no any problem.
Ask me call if again to ask......... BUT Sabah, KK post malaysia already popular not pick up phone.
What to do..... wait bahhh. hope next week get.

yes...all you can do is just wait...understand that they do things very slow.

as long there's still update from the tracking. shouldn't be much problem

No la. They will send u a notice, that your item is held by custom. Go to custom and settle there. Very fast.

sometimes ur shipment held my customs becoz they suspect u under-declare the value..

just becoz it is written <RM500 on the commercial invoice doesnt meant Kastam have to accept it..

lol. i also thinking go custom settle it. more faster. But it said still in KLIA, but Im at KK.
