Presto took 8 working days to release money together with "on hold" status into PBB SA. Not a bad tool since they only allow 2 times withdrawal per month.

I tried with Maybank CC jompay to topup and it was successful. The allowable transfer is RM 500/week with a fee of RM 2.12. If there's 4 weeks in a calendar month, so the charges would be RM 8.18 per RM 2K transfer (i.e. 0.41%)

Thanks for the corrections on my typo/calculations. I have just transferred 500. So I think I can do this for 3 week in a row as the e-wallet limit is 1500. We probably can do another one in the forth week if the first week 500 holding is release? Not sure - let's see...

Maybe the station operators feel it is not safe to touch customer's mobile phone at this moment, the cashier may feel insecure if you key in the redemption code yourself. I had been to a few stations, so far only Height Drive I could D-I-Y to redeem the voucher.

Give up PeV for a while, you have other options, eg Setel (unfortunately the nearest stations are Jln Kulas and Batu Kawa MJC, but still less than 10km away from city centre), consider TNG wallet - Shell (RM40 to get RM4, note: ~26 Litres), Maybank QRPay (RM50 to get RM5, ~34 liters may be too much, Savings account & M2U App) at Petron - Jln Pending (the only Petron in Kuching city area). 30% rebate on Shell-bonuslink redemption on 7/7, 8/8,... till 12/12.
