Hi, as title says...my MSI laptop initially has an option to disable the trackpad when another mouse is attached but somehow the option disappeared and I can't get it back or reinstall the driver. Is there any other option to stop the trackpad from moving while we're typing? I thought there was initially...maybe new updates changed something because even Google can't help.

Go to official MSI website to download the touchpad drivers? Usually it is placed under utilities.

For ASUS it is called ATK driver. This enables the Fn key. Windows update is known to remove or disable the ATK driver.
But for MSI it could be just the touchpad driver that controls this. Else one of the MSI utility is the one that controls these feature.
Go to your laptop model page and look for Driver (Mouse) or Utility (Any of the monitoring or value added software).
Remember to restart PC after every installation to see if the Fn key works.
